Before You Arrive
When you book your consultation, our team will confirm your appointment and answer any preliminary questions. You do not need to bring anything special, but the following can make your visit more productive:
A list of your concerns. What specifically bothers you? What do you see in the mirror that you would like to change? Being specific helps Dr. Huq understand your goals and tailor his assessment.
Photos or reference images (optional). If you have seen results that appeal to you — or images that represent the look you are going for — bring them. They give Dr. Huq a concrete sense of your aesthetic preferences.
Your medical history. Any significant health conditions, medications, supplements, previous surgeries, and allergies. This information is essential for determining your candidacy and planning a safe procedure.
Your questions. Write them down. Consultations involve a lot of information, and it is easy to forget questions in the moment. There is no such thing as a question too small or too basic.
Arriving at NPSC
Niagara Plastic Surgery Centre is located at Suite 1, 5668 Main Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario. The clinic is a discreet, private environment — not a high-traffic commercial space. Patients who value privacy will appreciate the setting.

Your Meeting with Dr. Huq
The consultation itself is a one-on-one conversation with Dr. Huq. It is not a sales presentation. There is no team of coordinators, no pressure tactics, and no “special offer if you book today.” It is a clinical assessment conducted by the surgeon who would perform your procedure.
Step 1: Listening
Dr. Huq starts by asking about your concerns. What brought you in? What do you see when you look in the mirror? What would make you feel more like yourself? This is the most important part of the consultation — he needs to understand your goals before he can make a recommendation.
Step 2: Assessment
Dr. Huq will perform a physical evaluation of the area of concern. For facial procedures, this includes assessing skin quality, tissue laxity, bone structure, fat distribution, and muscle tone. He evaluates your anatomy as a complete structure, not just the isolated feature that concerns you, because the best results come from understanding how all elements work together.
Step 3: Recommendation
Based on your goals and his assessment, Dr. Huq will explain what he recommends — the procedure (or procedures), the technique he would use, and why. He will also explain what is realistically achievable. If your expectations exceed what surgery can deliver, he will tell you directly and honestly.
If he believes a non-surgical treatment would better serve your goals, he will say so. If he believes the timing is not right — for medical or personal reasons — he will say that too. The consultation is about giving you the information you need to make the right decision for yourself.
Step 4: Visual Planning
Depending on the procedure, Dr. Huq may use photographs, diagrams, or descriptions to help you visualize the anticipated result. For some procedures, he can show before-and-after images of patients with similar anatomy and concerns to give you a realistic sense of outcomes.
Step 5: Your Questions
This is your time. Ask everything. Common questions include recovery timeline, pain level, scarring, risks, how many times Dr. Huq has performed the procedure, what happens if you are not satisfied, and how long the results last. No question is off-limits.
After the Assessment: Your Quote
At the end of the consultation, you will receive a personalized, all-inclusive quote. At NPSC, this means the quote covers the surgeon’s fee, the accredited facility fee, anesthesia, and all follow-up appointments. There are no hidden fees, add-ons, or surprises after the fact.

There Is No Pressure to Decide
You will not be asked to commit during your consultation. Many patients take days, weeks, or even months to make their decision. Some return for a second consultation before proceeding. This is a significant choice, and it should be made on your timeline, not someone else’s.
