When the Breasts
Have Changed Over Time.
A woman’s breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. These changes and the loss of skin elasticity can result from pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, aging, gravity, and heredity.
Also known as mastopexy, a breast lift can raise and firm the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. Sometimes the areola becomes enlarged over time — a breast lift can reduce this as well.
Unlike traditional mastopexy techniques, the Bellesoma Method™ does not leave behind any vertical scarring. Instead, the scars are hidden around the areola and the breast crease. Like a push-up bra, the procedure uses the woman’s own breast tissue — no implants required — for an internal suspension technique.
The patient’s own breast tissue creates new breast mounds positioned higher on the chest wall, secured to the chest muscle to relieve weight from the skin envelope. Final sutures sit around the areola and within the shadow of the breast. The approximate price is $18,000–$24,000.
Is a
Breast Lift Right for Me?
Physically Healthy
You are physically healthy and maintain a stable weight.
Non-Smoker
You do not smoke.
Realistic Expectations
You have realistic expectations for the improvement surgery can provide.
Sag, Shape, Volume
You are bothered by the feeling that your breasts sag, have lost shape and volume.
Nipple Below Crease
When unsupported, your nipples fall below the breast crease, or your nipples and areolas point downward.
Stretched / Asymmetric
You have stretched skin and enlarged areolas, or one breast is lower than the other.
Lift, Yes.
Size Change? Different Procedure.
Breast lift surgery does not significantly change the size of your breasts or round out the upper part of the breast. If you also want your breasts to look fuller, the implant-free Bellesoma Method can add upper-pole fullness using your own tissue; if you want them smaller, breast reduction may be the better path.
Dr. Huq does not place breast implants. Where added volume is part of your goal, he achieves it with your own tissue through the Bellesoma Method rather than silicone or saline. He will help you decide which approach fits your anatomy — please don’t hesitate to call with questions.
Two Paths — Two Price Points.
Dr. Huq will help you decide which approach best matches your anatomy and goals. Individual results may vary.
What’s the difference between a traditional mastopexy and the Bellesoma Method™?
A traditional mastopexy lifts the breast using standard surgical patterns, often leaving a vertical scar down the front of the breast. The Bellesoma Method™ uses the patient’s own tissue in an internal suspension technique, secures the new breast mounds to the chest muscle, and hides scars around the areola and in the breast crease — no vertical scar.
How much does a breast lift cost at NPSC?
A traditional mastopexy is approximately $8,500–$10,000. The Bellesoma Method™ is approximately $18,000–$24,000. Both are all-inclusive quotes covering surgeon, facility, and anesthesia.
Can I add fullness at the same time?
Yes — but without implants. Dr. Huq does not place breast implants. A lift can be combined with the implant-free Bellesoma Method, which adds upper-pole fullness using your own breast tissue. He will walk you through which approach matches your anatomy and goals.
Am I a candidate?
Good candidates are physically healthy non-smokers with realistic expectations and a stable weight — typically bothered by breasts that sag or have lost shape or volume.
