Dr. Huq does not offer OHIP-covered post-bariatric body contouring. While some provinces cover limited skin removal in specific circumstances, this practice focuses exclusively on private-pay body contouring — allowing the comprehensive, staged approach that post-bariatric patients deserve. Flexible, no-interest payment options make body contouring accessible.
Stable weight for 6+ months
Your weight should be stable and within your goal range. This ensures lasting results and prevents the need for revision if you lose or gain significant weight afterward.
Non-smoker or willing to quit
Smoking compromises healing. Patients are asked to be smoke-free for at least 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery.
Cleared by your bariatric team
If you had bariatric surgery, your surgeon’s clearance ensures you are nutritionally stable and ready for elective surgery.
