Tens of thousands of men and women have been treated with Dr. Huq’s Optimum LIFT™ Mini Lift. It is not a traditional facelift — it is a mini facelift approach that has been continuously refined at Niagara Plastic Surgery Centre into a procedure that produces nearly permanent improvement with excellent long-term results.
Because the approach is unique and requires no general (inhaled) anesthesia, there is a greatly reduced chance of complications and significantly reduced recovery time — or “downtime,” as it is often called.
Another great advantage of the Optimum LIFT™ is its affordability — the cost is generally about half that of a full facelift. After a decade of variations to modify and improve the traditional facelift, the most impressive overall results have come from this mini lift.

Small Incisions.
Deeper Tissues Re-Suspended.
The procedure uses very small incisions placed along the hairline, inside and around the ear — planned to be very well hidden. The deeper tissue structures are then released and re-suspended. The jawline is typically lifted at least two to three centimeters.
The procedure also aids in tightening the neck by improving the vertical bands to recapture a more graceful, smooth neckline. The skin is closed with absorbable sutures in multiple layers, so there is no need to return for suture removal.
Patients generally experience a very quick recovery and little or no pain. Some require no pain medication and — with a little cover-up makeup — can often return to work within a few days.
