A Facelift to
Rejuvenate Your Appearance.

Technically known as rhytidectomy, a facelift is a surgical procedure that addresses visible signs of aging in the face and neck — sagging midface, deep creases, displaced fat, and loss of muscle tone along the jawline.

What a Facelift Addresses

The Signs of Aging
This Surgery Can Correct.

A facelift is a surgical procedure with the goal of improving the visible signs of aging in the face and neck. Non-surgical rejuvenation treatments cannot achieve the same results, though they may help delay the point at which a facelift becomes appropriate and complement the results of surgery.

Rejuvenation procedures are often performed in conjunction with a facelift — brow lift to correct a sagging or deeply furrowed brow, and eyelid surgery to rejuvenate aging eyes.

Concerns Commonly Addressed

What a Facelift
Can Improve.

Midface Sagging

Loss of volume and descent in the cheek area that softens the contours of the face.

Deep Creases

Lines below the lower eyelids and from the nose to the corners of the mouth that fillers can no longer smooth.

Displaced Fat

Fat that has fallen or shifted from its youthful position, softening the jawline and midface.

Jowling

Loss of muscle tone in the lower face creating heaviness and sagging along the jawline.

Loose Neck Skin

Loose skin and fatty deposits under the chin and jaw that can create the appearance of a double chin.

Overall Facial Laxity

The general impression of descent that makes fillers and skin-tightening treatments feel like they are no longer enough.

Is a Facelift Right for Me?

A Highly
Individualized Procedure.

A facelift is a highly individualized procedure, and you should do it for yourself — not to fulfill someone else’s desires or to try to fit any sort of ideal image.

Facelift surgery is a good option for you if you are physically healthy, you don’t smoke, and you have a positive outlook with specific but realistic goals for the improvement of your appearance.

Dr. Huq will also discuss whether a deep plane facelift or the Optimum LIFT™ mini lift may better match your anatomy and your goals.

Frequently asked
What’s the difference between a facelift and a deep plane facelift?

A traditional facelift primarily tightens the skin and underlying SMAS layer separately. A deep plane facelift releases and repositions the entire composite layer of skin, muscle, and fat as a single unit, producing results that look more natural and last significantly longer. Dr. Huq offers both and will recommend the approach that best matches your anatomy.

How much does a facelift cost at NPSC?

A facelift at NPSC starts at $20,000. This base quote is all-inclusive — surgeon’s fee, accredited facility fee, anesthesia, and all follow-up appointments. Adjuvant procedures performed alongside your facelift — such as fat grafting, liposuction, lip lift, and buccal fat removal — carry an additional charge for each.

Am I a candidate?

Good candidates are physically healthy non-smokers with a positive outlook and specific, realistic goals for the improvement of their appearance. If your concerns are milder, Dr. Huq may recommend the Optimum LIFT™ mini lift instead.
