About Dr. Huq…

Dr. Huq was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada and now resides with his a wife and three children in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada where he practices plastic and cosmetic surgery at the Niagara Institute of Cosmetic Enhancement.

Well known for the compassion and extraordinary care he extends to his patients, Dr. Huq performs all surgical procedures at the Niagara Plastic Surgery Centre. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. As a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, whose membership is reserved for doctors who are certified in the specialty of plastic surgery and are dedicated to the highest standards of patient welfare and surgical excellence, he is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible to his patients. Dr. Huq is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

He has often been featured on television, most recently on the Life Network’s “Skin Deep” series on which he performed a facelift for a Niagara resident. Dr. Huq is highly skilled in a broad range of leading-edge techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, specializing in those for the face, neck, eyelids, breasts, hands and body.

DR. HUQ'S EDUCATION

Past

Immediately after high school, Dr. Huq completed two years of undergraduate studies at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he was recognized on the Dean’s Honor Roll. Upon completing his term in Dalhousie, he continued on to medical school at Western University in London, ON. In 1998, Dr. Huq completed his studies in general and plastic surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.  Dr. Huq also went on to the world renowned Klienert Institute in Louisville Kentucky, USA to complete one year of sub-specialty training in hand and microsurgery.  And helped with the world's first successful hand transplant.

Upon returning to Canada, he worked as a trauma surgeon while earning his Master's of Science Degree. In 2000, Dr. Huq became a Diplomat in the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Since then, he has been practicing Niagara Falls, Ontario, specializing in all areas of plastic surgery.

Present

Dr. Huq continues to practice plastic and cosmetic surgery, as well as hand and microsurgery from his clinic, the Niagara Institute of Cosmetic Enhancement in Niagara Falls. He also continues his work on a variety of regional health, community and charity related projects and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
